Ocean Sally Gobble is a 24-year-old trainee tradesperson whose life is dominated by solving the murder of her half brother, Roosevelt Gobble. Roosevelt was suffocated in 2010 and the killer was never brought to justice.
She is an American Sikh who defines herself as gay. She finished school and then left academia. She is allergic to pine cones.
Physically, Ocean is in pretty good shape. She is average-height with almond skin, dark brown hair and black eyes.
She grew up in an upper class neighbourhood. Her father left when she was young, leaving her with her mother, who was an addict.
She is currently single. Her most recent romance was with an artist called Grace Shirley Foster, who was 7 years older than her. They broke up because Grace couldn't deal with Ocean's obsession with Roosevelt's death.
Ocean's best friend is a trainee tradesperson called Mae Watson. They have a very firey friendship. She also hangs around with Lexie O'Moore and Isabella Long. They enjoy interviewing suspects together.
